7 Months and DC!

Well like usual...time is just flying by! Our adorable little man is 7 and a half months old....and quite the little character.

His tongue sends more time outside of his mouth than it does inside!

 Sheldon had spring break this last week, so we took full advantage of his time off and went to Washington D.C.  It was one of those places on both our "must see" lists...so while we are living only 6 hours away we figured it was a good time to cross it off our list!  We were both a little nervous because it was our first real vacation with the T man...but we packed everything we could possibly need for a week...and there are Walmarts everywhere....so we figured we would survive!

We went with some of our friends that are also in the accounting program at OSU; Dustin and Meaghan! It was really fun to go with them...even though they may not say the same thing about us because they had the job of entertaining Toren on the car ride!

It was amazing to actually see the places and buildings that I've learned so much about...to me it made history come to life.  

It was a little on the cold side...but overall it was a great trip! Toren ended up being perfect (as usual!) and we got some good exercise walking up and down the National Mall!

Yeah for SPRING BREAK!

6 Months!

Time is flying by! I don't even know where December and January went...and now it's February! Christmas was so much fun, we spent a a few weeks in Utah and a couple days in Rexburg playing with family.  The T-man had a blast...and everyone spoiled him (we loved it too!)

January flew by in a hurry...We got back into the swing of life in Ohio...Shel is pretty busy with school, but he is able to come home every night and not do much for school which is SO nice.  

Toren is 6 months old...Really we can't believe it!! It was just yesterday we brought him home from the hospital.  We feel like we are getting kinda good at this whole parenting thing (haha...kinda!) Toren weighs 13lbs 3oz (so pretty small...but he makes up for it in personality!) 25 inches long, he is eating cereal, fruits, and vegetables for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and still nursing every 3 hours or so.  He loves to eat...and so far he likes everything! He loves to talk! He recently started making "d" sounds...and Sheldon claims he's saying dada! (it sounds pretty close) He is sleeping pretty good, he goes down at 8:30 and will sleep until 12:30 (and eats) and then until 5:30 (and eats again)...and then if we are lucky until 8! At our 6 month appointment the doc said he shouldn't need to eat during the night anymore...so we are going to try and cut those out (Which would be really nice for us) So we will see how that goes this week.  Toren hates to be on his belly...we are working on that...but he loves to sit up and stand (I think he wants to skip crawling and go straight to walking)

We are having SO much fun with the T-man. We love every second of the day we get to spend with him! Here are a few pictures from the last few months!
